Low Profile Serial Button Box
This response box contains five arcade-style pushbuttons which interface with the host computer through a serial port at 19,200 baud.
One ASCII character is transmitted for each button press. System latency and delay is far less than 1 mS total.
The work surface of this console measures 10" x 7", and slopes upward at a 15 degree angle.
The system is compatible with Cedrus E-Prime, Empirisoft's DirectRT and MediaLab, Paradigm software, and any application which can parse single bytes received by the serial port.
